Ghosts of my Town #2

A few weeks ago, workers began to dig up an old market square in the centre of my town. On the square, before the war, a synagogue had stood. The Nazis burned it down. It was home to a sizable Jewish community, including, in the 1700s, Solomon Isaac, an entrepreneur who helped to make Silesian mining the force it became.
